F28379D Launch Pad

LAUNCHXL-F28379D is a low cost evaluation and development tool for the F2837xD, F2837xS, and F2807x series in the TI MCU LaunchPad ecosystem which is compatible with various plug-on BoosterPacks (suggested under the Recommended BoosterPacks in the Features section below). High Voltage Motor Control and PFC Developers Kit

The High Voltage Motor Control and PFC Developer’s Kit provides a great reference platform to learn and experiment with digital control of high voltage motors with Texas Instruments’ C2000™ 32-bit microcontroller family.

The board includes an AC rectifier stage, a two-phase interleaved power factor correction (PFC) stage, a 3-phase motor inverter stage, isolated CAN and SCI connectivity, PWM DAC’s for oscilloscope monitoring of system variables, and a controlCARD DIMM100 slot with included controlCARDs based on the C2000 Piccolo TMS320F28035 MCU and the C2000 Delfino TMS320F28335 MCU. Motors are sold separately.

The 3-phase inverter stage is capable of sensorless and sensored field oriented control of high voltage ACI and PMSM motors, or trapezoidal and sinusoidal control of high voltage BLDC motors.

F280xx Based BLDC Motor Control Kit

F280xx Motor control kit is a low cost evaluation and development tool for the F280xx series as well as the Insta SPIN-FOC (F2802x) and Insta SPIN-MOTION (F2806x). This extended version supports the connection of plug-on. The DRV8301 is 10A, 3-phase brushless DC drive stage based on the DRV8301 pre-driver and CSD18533Q5A NexFET™ power MOSFET. The module has 3x low side current sense amps. The module also has a 1.5A step down buck converter, is fully protected with short circuit, thermal, and shoot-through protection, and is easily configured via a SPI interface. This kit is ideal for those wishing to learn about sensor less brushless control techniques and drive stage design.
